48-hour curfew extended in Kingston Western Division

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The 48-hour curfew that was imposed in the Denham Town community of the Kingston Western Police Division has been extended. The curfew began from 6:00 pm on Sunday, September 27, and will remain in effect until 6:00 pm on Tuesday, September 29. The boundaries of the curfew are as follows: North: Along Studley Park Road from the intersection with Slipe Pen Road to the intersection of Seventh Street and Little King Street. East: Along Princess Street from the intersection of Princess Street and Heywood Street, northerly to Slipe Pen Road to the intersection of Slipe Pen Road and Studley Park Road South: Along Spanish Town Road from its intersection with Little King Street to Heywood Street. West: Along Little King Street from the intersection of Little King Street and Seventh Street to the intersection of Little King Street and Spanish Town Road. During the hours of the curfew, individuals within the boundaries are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authorised by the ground commander.
