Atlanta-based 85 South Media signed a Tubi distribution deal that will bring 10 episodes of “The 85 South Show” to the free streamer, according to Deadline.
The collection, “The Best Of The 85 South Show,” features DC Young Fly, Karlous Miller and Chico Bean. More programming is expected, though those projects have not been named.
Chad Oubre, the company’s CEO and co-founder, told Deadline the expansion would help 85 South reach more viewers as it continued to build its own business.
The comedians already had a movie in Tubi’s plans. On October 29, 2025, the company announced a four-film deal with Kevin Hart’s Hartbeat, including “85 South: Dead End.” The horror comedy follows the trio on a road trip through the South that leads them to a town people cannot leave.
That slate also included “Sundown,” a supernatural thriller written and directed by Kinigra Deon, who starred in it. Tubi placed both projects under its Tubi for Creators program, a push to bring creators’ work to the service and give them a wider audience.
DC Young Fly and Miller had another Tubi connection through T.I.’s “Da Partments”.
AllHipHop reported in 2023 that DC co-produced the Atlanta comedy while Miller and Lil Duval served as executive producers. All three appeared in the film, which T.I. wrote and directed.
The trio’s reach extended beyond their podcast. Netflix released their stand-up special “85 South: Ghetto Legends” in 2023.
It brought the same three comedians together for a stage show built around their podcast’s freewheeling comedy.
Their work also earned recognition at the 2024 NAACP Image Awards, where “The 85 South Show” won Outstanding Society and Culture Podcast. DC separately won the hosting award for “Celebrity Squares,” while “Wild ‘n Out,” which featured all three comics, won its reality program category.
Fans can also find the crew on Channel Eighty Five, their own subscription streaming service. Its catalog includes their classic shows and original series, with Desi Banks, Moneybag Mafia and Navv Greene among the featured comics. The service advertises its live-show library as an exclusive part of that offering and lists a monthly price of $8.50.
