A$AP Rocky Funds Full-Tuition Scholarship At Roc Nation School

A$AP Rocky is backing his words with real money.

The Harlem rapper just announced a full four-year tuition scholarship for one student heading to the Roc Nation School of Music, Sports & Entertainment at Long Island University in Brooklyn.

This isn’t just another celebrity flex either. Rocky’s putting his resources where his mouth is, and he’s joining a growing list of artists who’ve already committed to the same mission.

“I’m a big believer in creating your own lane and giving people the opportunity to do the same,” Rocky said in a statement. “There are so many talented young people with ideas, ambition and something important to say. This scholarship is about helping one of them turn that vision into something real.”

The move signals something bigger happening at the Roc Nation School.

DJ Khaled, Megan Thee Stallion, NBA All-Star LaMelo Ball, and producer Young Guru have all established their own scholarships for students there.

Young Guru even runs the Music Technology, Entrepreneurship & Production program at the school. It’s becoming a real pipeline for the next generation of music industry talent.

The school sits in Brooklyn, JAY-Z’s hometown, and has operated since Fall 2021.

The curriculum blends traditional academics with hands-on industry experience, connecting students directly to real opportunities in entertainment.

The Roc Nation Hope Scholarship program already covers full tuition for 25 percent of incoming students, so Rocky’s addition to that ecosystem matters.

Students interested in applying for Rocky’s scholarship need to move fast.

Applications close December 15, 2026, and you must be a first-time freshman looking to enroll for Fall 2027.

Head to apply.liu.edu/rn to submit your application. This is the kind of opportunity that doesn’t come around twice, and Rocky’s making sure someone gets their shot.
