News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. Sept. 3, 2026: Antigua & Barbuda Falcons sit atop the CPL 2026 points table with 11 points from nine matches, holding the lead despite three losses, as the tournament heads toward its knockout stage later this month.
Guyana Amazon Warriors sit second with 8 points, the only unbeaten side left in the competition at 4-0, though they have played fewer matches than most of the field. Their net run rate of +2.604, by far the best in the tournament, reflects a run of dominant victories, most recently a nine-run win over Trinbago Knight Riders in which Shimron Hetmyer struck an unbeaten 111.
Jamaica Kingsmen and St. Lucia Kings are tied on 8 points apiece, both at 4-4 records but separated from Guyana by net run rate. With their perfect record intact, Guyana Amazon Warriors return home to Providence Stadium for a five-match stretch beginning September 4 against Jamaica Kingsmen, followed by St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots on September 6, Antigua & Barbuda Falcons on September 8, St. Lucia Kings on September 9, and Trinbago Knight Riders on September 11. A strong run at home could see them close the gap on the Falcons for top spot before the playoffs begin.
The top four teams advance to the knockout stage running September 16-20, with all playoff matches, including the final, hosted at Kensington Oval in Barbados for the first time in CPL history.
