B2K Reunites For First Album In Nearly 24 Years With””ECLIPSE”

B2K has reunited its original lineup for ECLIPSE, the group’s first studio album in nearly 24 years.

Omarion, J-Boog, Lil’ Fizz and Raz-B released the project through BPC Music Group on Friday. The group announced the album alongside the new single “Co-Sign,” which was written and produced by The Underdogs.

Raz-B framed the return as more than a nostalgia play.

“ECLIPSE is a celebration of our brotherhood, growth, and legacy. 25 years later, we’re still making history,” he said.

Omarion kept his own message short: “20+ years later, the stars have aligned.”

The album brings together a wide production team, including Sean Garrett, Troy Taylor, Hitmaka, Blaq Tuxedo, Lil Ronnie, Kenneth “KP” Paige, Ethos and The Underdogs. Eric Bellinger and Ant Clemons are among the outside songwriters credited on the project.

B2K started the rollout in July with “Mileage.” The single became the group’s first entry on Billboard’s Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart in more than two decades.

It climbed to No. 23, reached the Top 15 at R&B/Hip-Hop radio and topped Apple Music’s R&B Songs and R&B Videos charts. The Atlanta bass-inspired “Lil Freak” followed in October.

The reunion has also moved beyond the studio. B2K performed new music and older hits on NBC’s TODAY before the album arrived. Earlier this year, the group’s Boys 4 Life Tour stop in Newark turned into a full reunion showcase with Bow Wow and other early-2000s acts.

ECLIPSE is the first album released by BPC Music Group, the label founded by Black Promoters Collective partners Gary Guidry and Troy Brown. The company also presented the Boys 4 Life Tour.

B2K’s last studio album, Pandemonium!, arrived in 2002. The group has seven Billboard Hot 100 entries, including the No. 1 single “Bump, Bump, Bump.” Its self-titled debut topped the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.

The release comes after years of reunion shows, but it is the first full album from the four-man lineup since its original run.

The new album is available through major streaming services as B2K begins its first full studio chapter with all four members in more than two decades.
