Bryson Tiller Gets Louisville Key & Platinum Surprise From Jack Harlow

Bryson Tiller received the key to Louisville and a platinum record from Jack Harlow during a hometown stop on his Neo Trapsoul Tour.

Mayor Craig Greenberg joined Tiller onstage at the KFC Yum! Center earlier this week, according to WAVE.

Jack Harlow made a surprise appearance and performed several of his songs. He told the crowd that seeing Tiller in concert while he attended Atherton High School had inspired him to keep pursuing music.

He also presented Tiller with a platinum record for their collaboration “Thru the Night” and announced its platinum status onstage. The pair also worked together on “Luv Is Dro.”

Greenberg welcomed Tiller home, spoke about his impact on the city, and handed him the key. Tiller opened the box to check that there was an actual key inside.

The show included DJ and songwriter Austin Millz, Ty Dolla $ign and R&B duo Majid Jordan. Tiller’s own set mixed newer material with familiar songs, including “Don’t.”

Before the arena show, Tiller spent time at a place tied to his own childhood.

He visited Iroquois High School on October 6 and met students on the A-B Honor Roll at his former school. He answered questions and encouraged them to stay positive..

Tiller built his career on a blend of rap and R&B. As AllHipHop previously reported, “Don’t” became his breakout single in 2015 and reached No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100.

It appeared on his debut album, Trapsoul. His next album, True to Self, opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 2017. Anniversary followed in 2020 and debuted at No. 5.

The hometown honors arrived during a much larger run. Live Nation announced 61 dates across North America, Europe and Australia, with the next stop at The Moody Center in Austin, Texas, on October 13.

The European leg opens November 17 in Zurich, and the Australian run begins January 19, 2027, in Perth.
