Buffie The Body’s Age Baffles!

Buffie The Body has created a mystery in Hip-Hop history! And I am wondering what is what.

The legendary video vixen recently appeared on The Tamron Hall Show, where she discussed her remarkable transformation from one of Hip-Hop’s most recognizable models into a woman finding real success.

But her age caught our attention.

She straight told Tamron Hall that she was 40-something back in her hey-day. Her hey-day was like 20+ years ago. Some have determined that she has to be like 60 years old in the year 2026.

Wait. WHAT?

Anybody familiar with Buffie remembers when she became an internet sensation and subsequently appeared in Tony Yayo’s “So Seductive” video in 2005. She was already killing it with the KING covers and things of that nature.

That video was 21 years ago.

A Google search and several online biographies identify Buffie, whose name has also been listed as Buffie Carruth, but now Buffie Lewis, as being born January 7, 1977. That would make her 49 years old today. She can’t be that young, based on her own words.

Another birth year circulating online is 1972 and that would put her at 54. Neither figure supports her own claim that she was already in her 40s when her modeling career exploded in 2005. If she was 40 back then, she would be approximately 61 today. If she was 45, we’re talking 66.

Somebody get a calculator. The math ain’t mathing.

There is another possibility worth considering. Perhaps Buffie was referring to modeling work she did later in her career rather than her initial breakthrough. That would explain at least some of the confusion. I can’t call it. Maybe she…misstated? I do not see that be the case.

I’d like to interview her and ask her, “How old are you right now?” and get this over with. Anyway, we all loved Buffie.

The official Tamron Hall episode description focuses on her unexpected reinvention through home improvement and DIY content, not an age revelation.

Still, the conflicting birth years are curious.

Buffie has successfully reinvented herself, apparently leaving behind the image that made her a fixture in Hip-Hop culture. That’s worth celebrating regardless of whether she’s 49, 54 or 60.

But curiosity is curiosity.

So we’re asking Buffie directly: How old are you really, and were you actually in your 40s when you became a video vixen?

Because right now, the internet’s arithmetic is struggling.

And we would love to solve this mystery once and for all.

Here’s a bit of context for the kids.
