MIRAMAR, Fla – With strong response to his recent tour and enthusiastic reaction to his latest album, Buju Banton heads to Miramar in South Florida on August 8. He will go there to mingle with fans.

The Grammy-winning artist will be at VP Records’ office in that city to sign copies of Too Too Bad. VP Records released his album on July 17.

Yared Lee, digital sales & promotions coordinator at VP Music Group, told South Florida Caribbean News that there is considerable momentum for Too Too Bad.

“We’re delighted with the response to Too Too Bad so far. The support has been incredible across every level, from fans embracing the album, to DJs and radio programmers championing the music,” he said.

“Reaching number one on the Apple Music Reggae Albums chart, number three on the iTunes Reggae Albums chart, and a strong debut at number eight on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart is a testament to that support.”

Too Too Bad is Buju Banton’s 13th album. It was released three years after Born For Greatness, his previous set which was a joint project between his Gargamel Music, Roc Nation and Def Jam.

On Too Too Bad, Buju Banton collaborates with DJ Khaled on Wild Woman, Gramps Morgan on Power and Ari Lennox for Satisfy Me.

He recently completed the 19-date Roots And Rhymes Summer Tour of the United States with Stephen Marley and Gramps Morgan. Lee said that was also a shot in the arm for the album.

“I was on the ground in Atlanta for the closing show of the tour as well as the album signing we did at DBS Sounds. The show was a fully-packed house, and even with the rainy weather, the audience responded well to the album tracks that were performed,” he reported.

“When it came to the day of the in-store, the crowd at DBS started early because everybody wanted to get their hands on the album as well as meet the man himself, Buju Banton.”
