Charleston White Faces New Texas Felony Drug Case After Latest Arrest

Charleston White faces two new drug possession allegations in Texas less than a month after his Florida battery arrest.

A booking record lists October 4 as his booking date in Tarrant County. The record names Arlington police as the agency behind both entries and lists bonds of $1,500 and $500.

One allegation involves less than one gram of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 2, while the other involves under two ounces of marijuana.

The booking record does not name the first substance or explain what brought White into contact with police before the booking.

Texas law classifies the listed Penalty Group 2 amount as a state jail felony under its rules on drug possession.

White had already dealt with a September 12 arrest in Hollywood, Florida, where police accused him of misdemeanor battery. The Florida booking came days before a scheduled September 16 comedy show at Off the Hook Comedy Club in Naples.

He later left jail on bond after a woman using the account @realkaypretty accused him of abuse and taking her belongings.

“Saying I’m worthless and trying to throw me out of the house that we stay together at. I have a lot to say about Charleston, from abusing me physically, mentally, emotionally, financially, and spiritually, to stealing my money, my jewelry, my clothes, my bags,” she wrote.

White denied attacking her and offered a different account of the dispute in a video after his release from jail.

“I defended myself. The blood that’s on the walls is my blood. You know when the police come, the nigga got to go. We both shoulda went [to jail],” White said.

His representative also denied the Florida allegations and said that the woman attacked him, leaving him with a bloody nose.

Before either case, White posted bond following an August booking in Collin County involving marijuana, a weapon and a driver’s license allegation.

The October 4 Tarrant County screenshot marks both bonds as unposted, putting the combined amount listed for his release at $2,000.
