Chocolate MC Sued Over Alleged Assault Of Teen After Las Vegas Club Show

Chocolate MC is being sued over the alleged sexual assault of a teen after a Las Vegas club show. The club and hotel owner Boyd Gaming also faces claims.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported the plaintiff was 16 at the alleged assault. Her lawyers sued Chocolate MC, whose legal name is Yosvanis Sierra Hernandez, on October 13.

The complaint says Masque Nightclub let her obtain alcohol and cocaine on December 31, 2024. It alleges Chocolate MC gave her more drugs and alcohol before sexually assaulting her at The Orleans.

The suit faults Masque’s owners for underage drinking and Boyd for failing to protect her. It seeks more than $15,000 on each of 13 claims.

The Review-Journal found no related criminal charge. Boyd declined to comment, and the club’s registered agent did not reply. The report did not include a response from Chocolate MC.

The Nevada suit is separate from the Florida case that put Chocolate MC in prison, which grew from the 2024 killing of Cuban reggaeton star El Taiger.

Prosecutors accused Damian Valdez-Galloso of killing the singer and Chocolate MC of trying to have Valdez-Galloso killed in jail.

A Miami jury found Chocolate MC guilty of soliciting first-degree murder in November 2025, the Miami Herald reported from his one-day trial.

Prosecutors said he used social media and an interview to offer inmates $20,000 in commissary money, then raised the sum to $100,000. They argued the posts could solicit violence without a direct message to an inmate and cited a song used in one post as evidence of intent.

Chocolate MC took the stand to deny trying to get anyone killed and said his posts were meant to promote an album.

He told jurors he had known El Taiger for about 20 years. His lawyer described the statements as a joke made in grief, but the jury rejected that position.

His conviction left other Florida charges unsettled, including accusations of threatening and abducting a fan.

In March, Chocolate MC accepted a plea agreement covering the solicitation count and separate cases, Univision Miami reported from the hearing. The deal brought a 10-year prison sentence followed by five years of probation.
