Chris Brown’s staggering income became public when his ex filed declarations detailing her own finances as part of their legal dispute over their 4-year-old daughter, Lovely Symphani Brown.
The superstar singer is raking in somewhere between $5.5 million and $7.3 million every single month, according to court documents filed in his ongoing custody battle with Diamond Brown.
What started as a straightforward custody case has turned into a full-blown examination of his wealth and spending habits.
His co-headlined concert tour with Trey Songz grossed $100 million, and now those profits are being redirected to cover damages from a brutal incident that’s been haunting his reputation for years.
Back in 2020, one of his Caucasian Shepherds attacked his housekeeper Maria Avila at his Tarzana home, leaving her severely mauled and disfigured.
A jury found him liable and awarded her $12.9 million in damages.
Rather than face a new trial, Brown agreed to settle for a reduced $9.5 million, including $3.85 million for past non-financial losses and $5.4 million for future non-monetary damages.
This financial pressure is exactly what Diamond is leveraging in her custody case.
She claims she makes only $1,500 monthly as a social media influencer and esthetician, while proposing expenses exceeding $45,000 per month for their daughter’s care, including $15,000 for rent alone.
She currently has just $10,300 in cash and bank accounts, with another $5,000 in personal assets that Chris gifted her, including two cars and designer items.
Meanwhile, she’s asking the court to recognize that Chris’s massive monthly income should translate into substantial child support payments.
The court will ultimately decide whether Diamond’s proposed $45,000 monthly budget is reasonable or if a lower figure better reflects their daughter’s actual needs.
