Did 50 Cent’s Rick Ross Beef Just Cross An Unwritten Rule Of Hip-Hop

50 Cent has apparently found another way to torment Rick Ross.

But this time the controversy involves Ross’ son, an alleged pistol-whipping and felony charges. This is getting deep. I hope they are never in the same room.

50 Cent and Rozay have been going at each other for several presidential administrations. It makes Ja Rule seem like nothing now. Their rivalry was the gold standard for beef. But now, this one has taken over. This latest development takes beef to the next level.

Posting bail for the man that says this:”I don’t care who your daddy is, I’ll kill you right here.”? Wild!

According to reports from Florida, William Roberts III, the son of Rick Ross, was assaulted near Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach on October 11. Police allege that 20-year-old Don Roberts III confronted the younger Roberts while he was speaking with a woman. Investigators believe the confrontation may have involved the suspect’s previous romantic relationship with her.

Things became frightening when the suspect allegedly produced a handgun and threatened Ross’ son.

Bold.

Authorities say the suspect then struck William in the head with the firearm after threatening his life. Fortunately, the reported injuries were relatively minor, and he did not require immediate medical attention.

The suspect was subsequently arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Those are serious accusations, and he remains presumed innocent unless proven guilty.

But here comes 50 Cent.

The G-Unit mogul reportedly declared that he would bail out the accused attacker, while also accusing Rick Ross of involving law enforcement.

Now, hold on.

There is a substantial difference between making an outrageous statement on social media and actually putting money toward somebody’s release. At this point, the reported bail offer should not be confused with a confirmed payment.

And there’s another important distinction. The police account identifies Ross’ son as the alleged victim who spoke with investigators. That does not establish that Rick Ross personally called authorities.

Nevertheless, the implications are rather ugly.

Rap rivalries have always involved insults, humiliation and occasionally outrageous theatrics. But when somebody’s child becomes the subject of a criminal investigation, the entertainment value begins to evaporate.

I wonder whether 50 Cent is simply trying to get under Ross’ skin or whether he genuinely intends to support the accused man.

Either way, this is one feud that probably doesn’t need any additional ammunition.

By the way, Ross’s son is a real football prospect.

He’s like 6’2″, 270 pounds and built like a tank. He had a successful foundation as a three-star interior offensive lineman at high school powerhouse St. Thomas Aquinas in Florida. They captured four consecutive state championships. He went to Bethune-Cookman in early 2024. Suddenly, he was dismissed from the football team prior to this current season for alleged disciplinary reasons.

Anyway, has 50 Cent taken his rivalry with Rick Ross too far?
