TMZ reported Diddy was in Allenwood’s general population, citing union secretary Jose Rojas. His spokesman welcomed it if accurate.
AllHipHop has not independently verified his housing assignment.
The music executive, Sean “Diddy” Combs, moved from FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey to FCI Allenwood Low in Pennsylvania last week. The Bureau of Prisons confirmed that transfer to ABC News on October 16. That confirmation identified his prison, not his housing unit within it.
The bureau also told ABC News that privacy, safety and security concerns prevented it from discussing individual conditions of confinement or reasons for a transfer. Diddy’s representative acknowledged the move but said placement decisions belonged to the bureau and declined to explain the circumstances.
The Associated Press previously reported Diddy entered special housing at Fort Dix and lost 41 days of good-conduct credit.
Federal rules define a Special Housing Unit as a place where inmates are kept apart from the general population. They can be held alone or with others.
He is serving a 50-month sentence imposed in October 2025 after jurors convicted him of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He was acquitted of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.
When the transfer was announced last week, his representative told ABC News, “Sean remains focused on moving forward, and we hope that his time at the new facility will be productive and without unnecessary disruption.”
