Diddy Head Injury Details Revealed After Bunk Bed Incident

Sean “Diddy” Combs reportedly hit his head on the bunk above him before the medical trip that took him out of Fort Dix.

An unnamed source told Page Six that the collision led to his hospital visit and that he was doing better. The account offered a cause for the head injury that remained unexplained when AllHipHop first covered his trip out of prison.

His spokesman, Juda Engelmayer, addressed the initial medical reports a day before the bunk account emerged.

“We are aware of the reports concerning Sean Combs and are working to confirm the circumstances,” Engelmayer told Deadline.

He said Combs’ health was the team’s chief concern and thanked people who had reached out. TMZ first reported that an ambulance left the New Jersey prison around 1 A.M. Saturday.

Its sources said Combs was awake and able to talk when he returned. The Bureau of Prisons declined to discuss his medical status or housing when Deadline sought details.

His time at Fort Dix had drawn scrutiny well before the injury.

In late September, NBC News published footage and accounts from men who had shared his prison unit.

They alleged that he used a banned phone and paid other inmates for services, including meals and cleaning. Sources said officials moved him out of the general population after that coverage.

The prison bureau declined to discuss his specific case, but said inmates were barred from having cellphones and could face penalties for breaking the rules.

Engelmayer challenged the focus on Combs, questioning how people recorded and leaked material from inside a federal prison. His response called for scrutiny of how the footage reached the public as well as the famous inmate it showed.

TMZ separately reported that union secretary Jose Rojas said Combs lost 41 days of good-time credit and 400 days of commissary privileges.

Combs is serving a 50-month sentence for two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. Jurors acquitted him of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.

The bureau’s public inmate locator listed him at Fort Dix with a projected release date of March 2, 2028.
