Diddy is counting down the days as his freedom gets closer by the week, and his prison release date keeps shifting in his favor.
The music mogul’s latest update puts him walking out of the Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix in New Jersey on February 5, 2028, shaving another two weeks off his previous February 20 date.
He’s serving a 50-month sentence after a jury convicted him in July 2025 on two counts of transporting women across state lines for prostitution purposes.
The conviction came after prosecutors detailed how he orchestrated what they called “freak-offs” where he’d watch and film his girlfriends with male prostitutes in hotel rooms.
The jury acquitted him on the more serious racketeering and sex trafficking charges that could’ve buried him for life.
His time at Fort Dix hasn’t been smooth, though.
Back in November 2025, guards caught him with homemade alcohol made from Fanta, sugar, and apples, the kind of prison hooch inmates brew in their cells.
Things got worse when he got into a physical altercation with another inmate in July 2026, landing him in solitary confinement for a stretch.
The fight happened after tensions escalated between him and the other prisoner, and according to TMZ, the incident triggered another adjustment to his timeline.
His release date has been a moving target since he started his bid.
It originally sat at June 2028, then moved to January 24, then February 20, and now February 5.
The pattern shows how prison behavior and good conduct credits can shift a sentence around.
His legal team is working to challenge the conviction while he completes his sentence, which means the February 2028 date could shift again depending on how those appeals play out.
