Drake Earns Third Latin Airplay No. 1

Drake kept his chart run going as “Ahí” with Karol G reached No. 1 on Latin Airplay.

The song rose from No. 2 on the October 31 chart with a 5% gain in Latin radio audience during October 16–22, according to Billboard.

It marked his third No. 1 there, after Romeo Santos’ “Odio” in 2014 and Bad Bunny’s “MIA” in 2018. Karol G earned her 23rd leader, passing Prince Royce.

The duet also topped Latin Rhythm Airplay. On Hot Latin Songs, it stood at No. 3 after a one-week stay at No. 1. It was No. 88 on the Hot 100, where it had peaked at No. 44.

The track appeared on Karol G’s August album No Me Arrepiento De Sentir Tanto, released through Bichota/Interscope Capitol.

Drake’s own new releases had already posted big gains on the album and singles charts earlier in October. HABIBTI became his 18th No. 1 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. That put him ahead of Future and the Temptations, who each had 17.

The jump followed the HABIBTI (FOMO) expansion, which added four songs from his “FOMO” film. For the October 17 chart, the album rose from No. 35 and replaced his own ICEMAN at the top. It also returned to No. 2 on the Billboard 200 after sitting at No. 116. The project earned 71,000 U.S. album-equivalent units for the week ending October 8, a 506% increase.

Streaming accounted for nearly 70,000 of those units.

That same expansion included “Solar Eclipse,” his duet with Don Toliver. The song entered the Hot 100 at No. 5, bringing Drake’s record tally of top 10 hits to 91.

It also gave him his 33rd No. 1 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. The track drew 15.1 million U.S. streams in its first week.

There was fresh recognition for his older work as well. AllHipHop reported that Views went diamond as an October 23 RIAA update brought new awards across his catalog.

The RIAA’s diamond level represents 10 million units, including eligible sales and streams in the United States.

The same update put Scorpion at nine times platinum, More Life at six times and Certified Lover Boy at five times.

It also listed So Far Gone at three times platinum and Care Package at platinum.
