Drake Says “Pray For Gaza” & Reveals “FOMO” Tour

Drake has turned “FOMO” into a peculiar window into his world, and I am starting to think the title is aimed at us more than him. “Why?” one might ask.

You probably know Drake premiered “FOMO” (Fear of Missing Out) after teasing the project with enough ambiguity to have people thinking an album was coming. Instead, we got a “not so short film” and “self funded surrealism.” OK,, Drake with the big words.

The roughly hour long project plays like Drake opened the doors to his summer and told everybody to come inside. There are boats, beautiful women, a Goth, workouts, friends, family and plenty of unreleased music. Sexyy Red pops up. Even his mother makes an appearance. Don Toliver and Yeat are connected to unreleased material heard in the film.

Then there is Ella Langley. I’m like who? And then I looked her up. She’s a country baddie.

Drake incorporates a version of her “Choosin’ Texas,” which is going to start rumors cooking. again. Remember, he appeared at her Little Rock concert this summer. Nobody has confirmed anything romantic, and yet…we are watching.

An unreleased dancehall flavored record, Drake says, “Pray for Gaza.” That’s big news and that’s why it’s the headline. There’s plenty more to discuss.

Drake also used “FOMO” to reveal plans to tour in 2027.

Remember, Drake has spent 2026 releasing a tremendous amount of material. After everything surrounding Kendrick Lamar, plenty of people wondered what his next era would look like. We’re looking at it.

“They keep saying our genre is dying,” he said. “Videos don’t matter. Nobody is watching, nobody is listening. I still care. As much as I did on the set of ‘Best I Ever Had.’ So be kind and rewind.”

Because Drake apparently still believes presentation matters. Mystery matters. Visuals matter. Making people wonder what comes next matters. Even goofy matters.

And maybe that’s the trick. Do whatever ya want.

There’s more to unpack. Stand by.
