Eazy The Block Captain Goes For Papoose’s Neck On “Lothario,” Drags Claressa Shields

Eazy The Block Captain was a bit late and at the same time, right on time.

The battle rapper has gone straight for Papoose’s personal life, questions his relationship with Claressa Shields and makes wild allegations as the Remy Ma drama takes another turn. And now…he’s playing for keeps.

The drama surrounding Papoose, Remy Ma and Claressa Shields just got another chapter in a book I’d rather not read. And this time, Eazy The Block Captain is going in.

The Philadelphia battle rapper has released a new diss track called “Lothario (Papoose Diss)” today and he isn’t interested in keeping things strictly lyrical. The situation was cooling down, and now its hotter than ever.

On the record, Eazy mocks the age difference between Pap and Ressa and suggesting the boxer treats the Brooklyn rapper more like a father figure. Mannnnn….he even refers to Shields as the “boxing jawn” then goes in on her. But the shots at the G.W.O.A.T. are only part of the story.

Eazy also makes allegations about Papoose’s marriage to Remy Ma. He makes claims that the veteran MC recorded private conversations and used surveillance inside a home and vehicle. Creepy and also Those unsubstantiated. He seems to say he helped Remy get to moving on. “I helped pack them bags,” he raps.

Eazy’s name has helped destroy on of Rap’s most celebrated marriages. Papoose and Remy Ma were considered an example of loyalty in a business where relationships rarely survive public scrutiny. Papoose stood by Remy during her incarceration in ways we can only imagine.

Now…all of that is fodder for Rap wars.

Papoose escalated the musical warfare in September when he released “Jezebel,” a blistering attack on his estranged wife. It was a bop too. At the same time, he was not adhering to the laws of journalism with what he was saying. The song included accusations of infidelity, claims about his contributions to Remy’s career and her relationship with Eazy.

And now Eazy is telling Papoose that he wants some of that smoke, too. Will Pap respond? That’s the biggest question.

Y’all remember: Papoose and Eazy had a physical confrontation. Both tell a different tale of what happened. Eazy has disputed accounts that Papoose had knocked him unconscious.

“Lothario” gives revenge energy to me. This isn’t simply a battle rapper looking for a viral moment. Bro is going off. Still, the reception hasn’t been entirely favorable.

Battle-rap fans have offered sharply divided reactions, with some praising Eazy’s willingness to confront Papoose and others criticizing the delivery, production and timing. A number of listeners have questioned whether the record actually measures up to Papoose’s recent diss material.

I think Pap’s coming back.

But here’s the real question: Is Eazy The Block Captain defending Remy Ma, settling an old score or simply making sure Papoose doesn’t get the last word?

This family feud is nowhere near finished.
