Eminem is bringing horror and Hip-Hop together this October with “Marshall’s Massacre,” a brand new arcade-style game that’s dropping right when the season gets spooky.
The gameplay is straightforward but intense: players grab chainsaws and fight off waves of zombies trying to reach Marshall, who’s standing there in a hockey mask with his own blade ready to go.
It’s the kind of concept that feels like it was made specifically for Halloween, and the timing couldn’t be more perfect.
The game’s being developed by Fan Arcade, a studio that specializes in creating interactive experiences for major artists and entertainment brands.
According to Variety, the project is part of a larger collaboration between Eminem and NERDS Clothing, the streetwear brand known for bridging geek culture with fashion.
The partnership includes limited-edition merchandise like skate decks, long-sleeve tees, and bomber jackets, all dropping at New York Comic Con next week.
Players can access Marshall’s Massacre through marshallsmassacre.com and experience the game at the NERDS booth during the convention, which runs October 8-11 at the Javits Center.
This isn’t Eminem’s first venture into gaming territory.
Back in 2005, he appeared in “50 Cent: Bulletproof” for PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PSP, bringing his presence to the console space early on.
Then in 2015, he launched “Shady Wars,” an arcade-style mobile game developed with Shady Records that featured his biggest hits as part of the gameplay experience.
More recently, he collaborated with the “Hitman” franchise on a special Slim Shady mission, and his character skins are available in “Fortnite,” showing how seriously he’s taking his digital presence.
What makes “Marshall’s Massacre” stand out is how it blends his alter ego mythology with interactive entertainment, creating something that feels authentically connected to his brand.
