Eminem’s Mom’s Spaghetti Opens At Ford Field As Lions Chase Fourth Win

Eminem‘s Mom’s Spaghetti has a new home at Ford Field, with its formal opening set for today’s Detroit Lions game against the Green Bay Packers.
The October 25 launch gives fans a permanent stop outside Section 127, near midfield on the visitors’ side.
It follows a quieter start: The Detroit News reported that the stand had a soft launch during the September 27 game against the New York Jets.
Detroit enters Sunday’s matchup at 3-2, while Green Bay is 4-2. The Lions are back from their bye week and looking for a fourth win after beating Arizona 45-21 on October 11.
Kickoff is set for 4:25 p.m. ET.
For fans making the trip, the food lineup goes beyond a box of pasta. Union Joints owner Curt Catallo told the Detroit Free Press that the stadium menu includes plain spaghetti, spaghetti with meatballs and the S’ghetti sandwich.
The sandwich comes with marinara for dipping.
Catallo described Ford Field as the brand’s first permanent location beyond its downtown Detroit takeout window.
Union Joints partnered with Eminem and his manager Paul Rosenberg on that original restaurant.
The older clip below is Eminem’s advertisement for the original Detroit restaurant’s September 2021 opening, not footage of today’s Ford Field launch.
Mom’s Spaghetti took its name from “Lose Yourself,” turning one of the rapper’s best-known song references into a food business.
It began as a pop-up at The Shelter in Detroit in 2017 before the permanent restaurant opened in 2021. The downtown spot sits in the alley between Union Assembly and the Fillmore Detroit.
Football crowds have tried the brand before. In February 2022, Eminem brought a Mom’s Spaghetti pop-up to Los Angeles ahead of his Super Bowl halftime performance.
That temporary setup ran at Uncle Paulie’s Deli, with delivery also offered through Postmates. The Ford Field location gives the business a lasting stadium presence back home.
The Lions connection will reach Germany next month, too.
The team announced a Mom’s Spaghetti food truck for its Munich Fan Fest at Odeonsplatz on November 13 and 14, ahead of the November 15 game against the New England Patriots.
The truck is set to sell pasta and S’ghetti sandwiches, along with limited-edition Mom’s Spaghetti and Lions merchandise.
The festival also has concerts planned with Kevin Saunderson on November 13 and Big Sean on November 14.
