MIAMI, United States (AFP)—Officials have recovered the flight data recorders from an Amazon cargo plane that crash-landed in Miami, leaving at least five people dead, the head of the National Transportation Safety Board said Monday.
"We were able to recover the flight data recorder and the cockpit voice recorder," and the devices were being sent to the NTSB for analysis, safety board chair Jennifer Homendy told reporters about the Sunday afternoon crash, in which the Boeing 767 overshot the runway and slammed into a van carrying seven people and also struck another vehicle.
