Floyd Mayweather Fawns Over Donald Trump Onstage At Midterm Rally

Floyd Mayweather backed President Donald Trump onstage at an Arizona rally on Wednesday, October 14, adding his voice to the president’s push for Republican wins in next month’s midterm elections.

The boxer joined Trump at Laughlin/Bullhead International Airport in Bullhead City. He flew from Las Vegas with the president aboard Air Force One.

Trump introduced Mayweather by praising his defense and linking that style to the boxer’s looks. He also highlighted Mayweather’s earnings before inviting him to the microphone. He referred to the boxer by his “Money” nickname.

“He looks so good. Who would believe he’s a fighter? He looks so good. He doesn’t have a mark, that’s why I’d rather be a great defensive fighter,” President Trump gushed.

Mayweather then said, “we couldn’t have chose a better president twice than Donald Trump.”

He thanked those who came out, praised the United States and recalled representing the country at the 1996 Olympic Games.

“America is the best country in the world. If I died and came back a million times, I will always choose America. We couldn’t have chose a better president twice than Donald Trump. So, it’s all about keeping this country strong, and it’s all about us sticking together and believing one another. America is the best country in the world,” Floyd Mayweather told the crowd.

He ended his brief remarks by urging Americans to stick together and believe in one another.

Afterward, Trump thanked Mayweather and dwelled on his unbeaten 50-0 record, noting that he had faced top opponents throughout his boxing career.

Combat sports outlet Happy Punch shared a clip of his remarks that evening.

Mayweather also appeared at the Republican Jewish Coalition’s 2025 leadership summit in Las Vegas. He accepted its World Champion for Israel Award and spoke about his support for Israel.

Mayweather had voiced his support for Trump well before this campaign stop. He also attended Trump’s first presidential inauguration in January 2017.

During a February 2025 appearance on Fox Business’s “Making Money with Charles Payne,” he praised Trump’s work as president and his business background.

AllHipHop reported at the time that 50 Cent mocked the interview in an Instagram post.

“LOL YO you know how, when you’re in school and a kid eats the crayons,” 50 Cent wrote in the caption. “Now you see what happens when they grow up. Spell BEST PRESIDENT champ! LOL.”

The Arizona stop placed him alongside a recent string of boxers who joined Trump on the road. Mike Tyson appeared at a rally on October 9 in Syracuse, New York.

Jake Paul joined an October 12 event in Youngstown, Ohio. Mayweather’s appearance made three boxers at three Trump rallies in six days.

In Bullhead City, Trump sought votes for U.S. Rep. Andy Biggs, the Republican challenging Democratic Gov. Katie Hobbs. Biggs took the stage and urged the crowd to support Republicans throughout the ticket.

The visit came while early voting was underway in Arizona. Races for governor, attorney general and the U.S. House were on the November 3 ballot.
