French Montana’s Amsterdam, Vienna Concerts Suddenly Canceled

French Montana and D-Block Europe’s Amsterdam concert was canceled, leaving fans without the joint show booked for Friday, October 30, at AFAS Live.

The venue confirmed the cancellation on its official event page, citing “unforeseen circumstances.”

“Ticket holders will receive an email from Ticketmaster with further information regarding the cancellation,” AFAS Live said.

The Amsterdam stop was billed as part of the “Worldwide Wave Tour.” Their London date remains on sale.

London’s O2 still lists D-Block Europe with French Montana as a special guest for Wednesday, October 28. The arena’s event page shows tickets on sale through AXS, its official ticket partner. Doors are listed for 6:30 P.M.

Another canceled date on Ticketmaster’s French Montana calendar is the November 6 show with D-Block Europe at Raiffeisen Halle im Gasometer in Vienna. That listing marks the Austrian concert as canceled without giving a reason.

Young Adz and Dirtbike LB formed D-Block Europe in Lewisham, London. They had come close to topping the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart with The Blue Print – Us Vs. Them and Lap 5. Both albums peaked at No. 2.

The duo reached No. 1 in January 2024 with Rolling Stone, their third studio album. It featured Yxng Bane, Noizy and Kodak Black. That success brought their Top 10 album tally to eight at the time, according to Official Charts.

That week, Rolling Stone also led the U.K. sales chart for independent record stores. It entered the vinyl albums chart at No. 2, giving the pair a strong showing with record buyers, too.

French Montana’s recent work also revisited a longtime partnership.

He and Max B announced Wave Gods 2: Cosmos Brothers earlier this year, with a May 22 release, as AllHipHop reported on their reunion. That project included “Smoking Part 2” and reunited two artists who had made music together years before.

French Montana explained that the album’s title grew from Max B’s talk about cosmic energy during calls between the two artists. He also described the music he wanted to make: “I’m all about restoration. I felt like the music business lost that edge, lost that music that people appreciated.”
