Gnarls Barkley Cancels November Tour As Ticket Buyers Await Refunds

Gnarls Barkley canceled its November “To Whom It Still Concerns Tour” ahead of the November 5 opening show at The Masonic in San Francisco.

Ticket buyers are due refunds. The Ticketmaster notice for the San Francisco opener says customers do not need to take action. Pollstar reported that Ticketmaster notified buyers to expect their money within 14 to 21 days.

The reason for the cancellation remains unclear. The San Francisco Chronicle reported that neither Gnarls Barkley nor promoter Live Nation had publicly explained the decision.

Live Nation announced the outing September 18 as a nine-city North American tour, advertising the first Gnarls Barkley tour in 18 years. But the name on the bill did not mean both members would be onstage.

Danger Mouse’s representative had already said the producer never planned to join the shows, according to the Chronicle. CeeLo Green had his partner’s permission to use the group’s name for the performances, the representative said. That clarification preceded the cancellation.

The live plans followed a recording reunion. Atlanta was billed as the pair’s third and final album, with AllHipHop previously reporting a 13-track project led by “Pictures.” The album was announced for a March 6, 2026 release through 10k Projects and Atlantic Records. Their previous album, The Odd Couple, came out in 2008. “Pictures” drew on Green’s memories of riding Atlanta trains alone after his middle school principal sent him home early on Fridays.

The canceled November schedule reached well beyond the opening night. Ticketmaster’s listings mark the November 7 show at Los Angeles’ Wiltern and November 10 stop at Atlanta’s Coca-Cola Roxy as canceled. The same status appears for Detroit on November 13, Boston on November 15 and Silver Spring, Maryland on November 19. Ticketmaster’s lineups list Gallant for the first four stops and Duckwrth for the remaining November dates.

Toronto’s HISTORY show on November 22 is also canceled. In New York, Ticketmaster lists canceled Irving Plaza dates for both November 24 and November 25, adding a second night beyond the original announcement’s itinerary. The planned November 28 finale at Chicago’s House of Blues is marked canceled as well.
