Ice-T told E! News “F–k ’em” when asked about parenting critics at Heidi Klum’s Halloween party.
The rapper and actor has spent years defending how he and Coco Austin raise Chanel while sharing parts of their family life online. He compared their household to another famous family’s and pushed back against treating all parents the same.
“We’re like the Osbournes. We have a different dynamic in our house. But it’s not harmful. That’s the main thing. It’s us,” he said in a previous interview.
Chanel is his youngest child and his only child with Austin, following his older daughter, LeTesha and son, Tracy Jr., from previous relationships.
The couple’s choices drew criticism in 2022 when Austin shared footage of Chanel bathing in a kitchen sink before heading to a fashion show.
The child was six at the time, and Austin explained that using the sink helped her get ready faster.
She defended the decision in an interview with Page Six, telling the outlet, “Everything I do, people have got to say something about it.”
That year also brought complaints about Austin using a stroller for Chanel, adding another dispute over a routine family outing to the public discussion.
An earlier argument centered on Austin breastfeeding Chanel at five, which she described as a source of comfort and closeness for her daughter.
“Chanel still likes my boobs. It’s a big bonding moment for a mother and your child,” Austin told Us Weekly in 2021.
Austin said Chanel also ate meals and sometimes wanted to nurse, explaining that she would let her daughter decide when to stop.
The public family updates have also included school milestones, with Austin sharing Chanel’s fourth-grade graduation picture on Instagram in June and reflecting on time passing.
She joked about gathering mothers for a group where they could share that feeling over coffee or tea, even suggesting tequila as another option.
“To all the moms who blinked and suddenly their little baby is graduating another grade-I’m right there with you,” Austin wrote.
Chanel, who was born November 28, 2015, will celebrate her 11th birthday later this month.
