WASHINGTON, United States(AFP)—A condemned female murderer in the US state of Tennessee who survived a botched execution attempt is in critical condition, her lawyer said Thursday.
"What we have been told is that she is in critical condition, receiving life-saving care," Randy Spivey said of Christa Pike, 50, who remained alive after being given two lethal injections on Wednesday night before ultimately being taken to a hospital.
