Jeezy is bringing his Sno Ball Gala back to Atlanta on November 10, with Bill Bellamy hosting a fundraiser for youth education, business training and community programs.
The sixth annual event will benefit the rapper’s Street Dreamz Foundation. Silent and live auctions will help raise money for its work in technology, entrepreneurship, health and financial literacy.
The foundation listed a 7 p.m. start at a private Atlanta location.
The announcement came as Jeezy’s team outlined where that support has been going.
According to the release sent to AllHipHop, the foundation joined Atlanta Life, SF and Goodr for a pop-up market that provided free groceries to 200 families.
It also worked with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to create experiences for children and their families.
Jeezy also served as the official program ambassador for Young CEO’s, an entrepreneurship initiative with the Urban League of Greater Atlanta.
The foundation described a 12-week program built around workshops, mentorship, business projects and networking. Participants work toward a pitch contest where they present their business ideas for support and recognition.
His involvement included taking part in an early pitch session and offering guidance to participants. The program’s stated goal is to help young people develop the skills to start businesses or move into leadership roles.
“I want to be more than just a mentor that they see every so often, but someone they can depend on daily,” Jeezy said in a statement on the foundation’s website.
Street Dreamz was founded in 2001. Its work has continued alongside the Atlanta rapper’s music career, with the gala giving supporters a way to fund programs beyond a single community event.
Last year, Jeezy announced a Community Day partnership with LISC in East Point, Georgia.
That event was planned around food distribution, school supplies, health screenings and resources for families, connecting the 20th anniversary of Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101 to his foundation’s work.
“It’s about making sure our neighborhoods have access to the same opportunities, the same capital, and the same future as anywhere else,” Jeezy said.
For this year’s Sno Ball, the foundation listed individual tickets at $1,000 and table sponsorships at $10,000.
Tickets and sponsorship information are available through the foundation’s Sno Ball event page.
Proceeds will support its youth programs, including financial education covering budgeting, saving, credit and investing.
