Kanye West booked a return to Mexico City for March 19, 2027, putting Estadio Banorte on his stadium itinerary after two shows in the Mexican capital earlier this year.
The date appeared on Ye’s official tour website, which listed the venue alongside his upcoming Dallas and Phoenix stops. The Mexico City concert will take place at the stadium formerly known as Estadio Azteca.
CNN en Español reported that the announcement came Tuesday through the tour’s official Instagram account. Ticket prices and an on-sale date had not been announced, but fans could register for early access through the concert’s website.
Mexican broadcaster N+ outlined the registration process: fans submit their contact information and state of residence, then validate the confirmation email.
Ye played the Monumental Plaza de Toros México on January 30 and 31. Those performances ended more than 17 years away from Mexican stages, according to CNN. The March booking brings him back a little over a year later at a different venue.
The confirmed listing also matters because another proposed Mexico show had raised questions. La Crónica de Hoy reported that September promotions advertised a March 26, 2027 concert at Estadio Akron in Zapopan. Music executive Joseph Karre, who has worked with Ye, said that event was unauthorized. The Banorte date now appears on Ye’s own tour schedule.
The Mexico announcement followed his October 31 Houston concert, where Playboi Carti joined him for “Carnival” and “Off The Grid.” His daughter North West also appeared, performing “Talking” and other material.
That show came with restrictions. Reliant Park warned beforehand that “outward expressions of hate will not be tolerated,” including hate symbols on clothing or signs, according to reporting previously covered by AllHipHop.
Ye’s touring year has continued alongside fallout from his antisemitic remarks and praise for Adolf Hitler. The United Kingdom denied him entry in April, leading to Wireless Festival’s cancellation. Dutch authorities later allowed his June shows in Arnhem, saying they lacked sufficient legal grounds to block them over his past statements.
In a January newspaper advertisement, Ye apologized and attributed his behavior to bipolar type-1 disorder, describing a “four-month-long manic episode of psychotic, paranoid and impulsive behavior.”
His current tour site listed AT&T Stadium for November 7 and State Farm Stadium for November 21 ahead of the March 19 Mexico City date.
