Keion White’s shooting case reached four arrests as San Francisco police announced three more suspects Wednesday. The February nightclub shooting followed a reported argument involving Lil Baby.
The October 14 update added Marquis Davis, Antoine Washington and Curtis Green to the case against Gregory Walker, whose arrest AllHipHop covered last week.
Cops arrested all four men between October 7 and October 9, then brought Walker and Green to San Francisco’s jail on October 12.
Prosecutors filed different gun charges against the two men now in local custody. Walker, 36, faced assault with a semiautomatic firearm and three counts tied to a felon carrying or possessing a gun. Prosecutors alleged that he fired the gun and caused great bodily injury.
The district attorney’s office said Walker and a second man awaiting charges both fired guns at the party, leaving White wounded.
The office did not name that second alleged shooter in its release.
Green, 35, faced three misdemeanor counts for allegedly brandishing a gun, carrying a concealed gun and carrying a loaded gun in public. District Attorney Brooke Jenkins’ office said it would ask a judge to keep Walker jailed without bail, citing a threat to public safety.
Police called the case Operation D-Line.
It took more than 50 search warrants and help from more than 250 officers and other personnel across the country. Cops said the searches turned up guns and nearly 15 pounds of drugs.
“What started as a shooting investigation expanded rapidly,” San Francisco Police Chief Derrick Lew said.
Atlanta police arrested Davis, 38, at his home, where officers said they found an illegal gun and MDMA, methamphetamine, cocaine and fentanyl.
Police arrested Washington, 36, in Stockton and said they seized a loaded gun, more than 120 oxycodone pills and $6,691. Irvine was the site of Green’s arrest on October 7. Los Angeles police arrested Walker two days later.
White was hosting a private Super Bowl party downstairs at Dahlia’s in San Francisco when he was shot in the ankle early February 9.
The San Francisco Standard reviewed a police report in which a witness said Lil Baby’s group tried to enter White’s event. The witness described an argument between White and the rapper, then heard shots while upstairs seeking help from club managers. He told police he did not know who fired.
White underwent surgery and returned to play for the 49ers this season.
Police worked to bring Davis and Washington to San Francisco, where they had not yet announced charges. The shooting investigation remained open, and officers asked other witnesses to come forward.
