Khloe Kardashian says a chaotic hotel encounter during her marriage to Lamar Odom still drives her dating boundaries. She and Kris Jenner told the story on the November 5 episode of The Kardashians.
The memory came up during a truth-or-dare game with Kim Kardashian and her The Fifth Wheel co-stars. Jenner said the family got word that Odom was at a hotel during the height of his drug use.
She claimed they thought he was being held there against his will.
“We’re going to extract him from the situation because he’s being held hostage by these hookers,” Jenner recalled.
Kardashian said her security team entered the room first.
“And all I saw [was] they were literally having a circle jerk. There were 20 people in the room,” she said. She also said everyone was naked.
She said she rushed into the room and fought people. Jenner stayed in a bathroom and put drugs in trash bags. “I just lunge and start swinging, beating people up, and my mom is hiding in the bathroom,” Kardashian said on the show.
Kardashian framed the memory as a warning, not a reunion. She said the night still shapes the traits she will avoid in a man. She has also said she wants honesty and trust from any future partner.
The account adds detail to a marriage marked by public claims of infidelity and Odom’s substance use disorder. It is Kardashian and Jenner’s version of what happened that night.
Kardashian and Odom married in 2009. She filed for divorce in 2013. She withdrew the filing after Odom’s near-fatal 2015 overdose so she could help with his care. She filed again in 2016, and the divorce was final that December.
The two met on camera in 2025 after years apart. Their ties later broke down again. Kardashian said in April that their bridge was burned after she disputed parts of Odom’s Netflix film.
The Kardashians Season 8 is streaming on Hulu. New episodes arrive on Thursdays. People said Odom’s representative did not at once respond to a request for comment on this account.
