Kodak Black Likeness Appears In New GTA VI Launch Gallery

Kodak Black appears to have entered Leonida, with his likeness turning up in Rockstar Games’ new Grand Theft Auto VI launch gallery.

Rockstar released the collection Thursday (November 5), exactly two weeks before the game arrives on November 19. “Grand Theft Auto VI is now officially only two weeks away,” the company said in its announcement.

Viewers quickly zeroed in on one figure whose face tattoos, hair and 1800 Block chain closely resemble the Pompano Beach rapper. The details immediately led to claims that the image shows Kodak rather than a loose parody or an unrelated character.

An important line still exists between recognition and confirmation. Rockstar’s gallery does not name the figure.

The company has not announced whether Kodak voices anyone, appears as himself, plays a fictional character or is part of a single scene. Kodak Black has not publicly spelled out his role either.

Rockstar has kept much of the game’s voice cast secret, which makes the missing credit meaningful rather than conclusive.

His connection to the game is not coming out of nowhere. Kodak’s older music was previously confirmed for GTA VI, putting his voice in the game’s Florida-inspired world before the new image surfaced. Rockstar has also leaned heavily into regional music and culture while building Vice City and the wider state of Leonida.

The music rollout is a separate piece of that world. Rockstar announced a 34-track album of new music for launch day, with early singles from Future and Metro Boomin, Travis Scott, PinkPantheress, Rauw Alejandro, Morgan Wallen and Keith Richards. That announcement did not describe Kodak’s apparent on-screen presence.

The gallery arrives after a quieter legal stretch for Kodak, whose real name is Bill Kapri. In September, Florida prosecutors declined to file charges in an Orange County MDMA case, saying the evidence was insufficient to prove possession.

A Broward judge also dismissed a separate fleeing-and-eluding charge that month.

For now, the launch gallery supports a careful conclusion: a figure designed to look like Kodak Black is in Rockstar’s official GTA VI imagery. The size and nature of his role remain undisclosed ahead of the November 19 release.
