Lil Tay Pulls Another Publicity Stunt At New York Fashion Week

Lil Tay hijacked a New York Fashion Week runway Sunday and strutted until security physically removed her from the catwalk.

The 19-year-old internet provocateur interrupted the Creators Inc. presentation on September 13 while a model was already walking before the audience.

Video obtained by TMZ showed Tay greeting the model, claiming the runway and trying to evade guards who rushed toward her.

Security eventually grabbed Tay and escorted her away, but Creators Inc. CEO Andy Bachman conceded that her uninvited performance commanded attention.

“I don’t condone spoiling months of preparation, but I’ll admit that girl mogged the entire room,” Bachman said. “She should consider a catwalk, preferably with a booking next time.”

The stunt became the latest spectacle from a clout-chasing troll persona built on trespassing across boundaries, provoking outrage and converting attention into income.

Tay, whose legal name became Tay Tian, first gained fame as a foul-mouthed child flashing cash, luxury cars and designer clothing online.

She revived that same playbook after turning 18 on July 29, 2025, when she announced plans to sell adult material through OnlyFans.

Tay claimed she recorded the material at 12:01 a.m. on her birthday before activating the page several days later on August 3.

“We broke the f— out of that OnlyFans record,” she wrote after posting an earnings screenshot that showed $1,024,298 generated within three hours.

OnlyFans never independently confirmed those numbers, although Tay later claimed her earnings reached $15 million during the account’s first two weeks.

AllHipHop reported that Tay said her family disowned her while she attacked women working regular jobs as “failures.”

“Lil Tay rich and fixing to get richer, anybody who doubted me, here I am,” she later told People. “First of all, not everybody can make that kind of money. That’s why I’m Lil Tay.”

Her adult-content controversy followed the bizarre August 2023 announcement on her Instagram account claiming that Tay and her brother Jason Tian had died.

Police found no matching death reports, her parents could not confirm the announcement and the post disappeared roughly one day later.

“I want to make it clear that my brother and I are safe and alive, but I’m completely heartbroken,” Tay said afterward. “It’s been a very traumatizing 24 hours.”

Tay blamed a compromised account, then returned the following month with “Sucker 4 Green,” turning another chaotic episode into promotion for new music.

The official New York Fashion Week schedule concludes September 15 with Thom Browne presenting the final listed runway show.
