Lil Wayne Blasts NFL Refs On Packers-Cowboys Night

Lil Wayne blasted NFL referees in three quick posts on X after cheering on his Green Bay Packers, who beat Dallas 23-13 at Lambeau Field on Sunday.
On Sunday night, Wayne wrote: “NFL refs ain’t shit.” About 40 seconds later, he posted a second version: “NFL referees ain’t shit.”
Within three minutes of the first post, he added another blunt line: “They make it hard to watch fr.”

A few hours earlier, Wayne had posted “GO PACK GO!!!!” His later complaints came on the same night as Green Bay’s prime-time game against the Cowboys, though he did not name a game or point to a specific call in those posts.
The matchup had plenty of flags. The Packers’ official recap counted 11 penalties for 96 yards against Green Bay and 11 for 108 yards against Dallas. Five of the Packers’ penalties were personal fouls: two for taunting and three for roughing the passer.
Packers coach Matt LaFleur stressed the need to keep emotions in check, whether players agreed with the calls or not.
“You’ve got to control your emotions to the best of your ability.”
The flags did not keep Green Bay from its third straight win. The Packers took a 17-0 lead into halftime and improved to 4-2. Dallas dropped to 2-4.
The Cowboys’ account described an offense that struggled to find a rhythm. Dak Prescott threw two interceptions, while Green Bay converted nine of its 10 third-down chances in the first half. Jordan Love finished with 276 passing yards, one touchdown pass and a rushing score. Matthew Golden led Green Bay with six catches for 104 yards and a touchdown. Green Bay’s defense also stopped Dallas on two fourth-down tries in scoring range, helping protect the early lead.
Wayne’s public ties to the Packers reach far beyond one Sunday-night post. His “Green & Yellow” theme song put that support on record in 2021.
He added another chapter this season with “Special Ops,” a Packers anthem that took shots at the rival Chicago Bears. AllHipHop covered that release in August, when Wayne aimed bars at Bears coach Ben Johnson and other NFC North rivals.
