Low water inflows disrupt supply to several Kingston communities
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The National Water Commission (NWC) is advising customers served under the Constant Spring daytime water supply schedule that their service is currently disrupted due to reduced water inflows at the Molynes Road Facility. According to the NWC, efforts are underway to rebuild storage levels, with the aim of restoring water supply before the end of the scheduled distribution period. The affected communities include Cassia Park, Waltham Park Road, Chisholm Avenue, lower sections of Molynes Road, Half-Way-Tree Road, Hagley Park Road, Maxfield Avenue, Moreton Park, Richmond Park, Cockburn Gardens, Kencot, Whitfield Town, sections of Cross Roads, Maxfield Park, Lyndhurst Road and surrounding areas. In the meantime, the NWC is urging customers to conserve their stored water as restoration efforts continue.
