MAGA Loses It After Jasmine Crockett Honors Chris Brown And Usher

Jasmine Crockett sent MAGA media into a frenzy after honoring Chris Brown and Usher during their massive Texas concert Saturday night.

The Texas congresswoman joined state Rep. Venton Jones and producer Roccstar onstage at AT&T Stadium in Arlington on September 12.

Together, they presented both R&B superstars with congressional recognition celebrating their music, longevity and cultural influence before thousands of screaming supporters.

“We are here because of Chris Brown!” Crockett declared as Brown stood nearby and soaked up the hometown love.

“We are experiencing Black joy at the highest level. And I wanted to make sure we document that at the congressional level.”

That celebration quickly became fresh ammunition for conservative media, which focused almost entirely on Brown’s history instead of the artists’ accomplishments.

The Daily Wire branded Brown a “domestic abuser” in its headline, while the New York Post mocked Crockett’s appearance as a “cringey fangirl moment.”

Neither outlet offered similar outrage over Usher, making Brown’s presence the central weapon in their latest attack against the outspoken Democrat.

Crockett also aimed a playful jab at Washington while explaining why she considered the recognition meaningful for the sold-out Texas crowd.

“Listen, we got a lot of scammers in Washington, D.C., but we got a real one standing on stage with us.”

Brown embraced Crockett after the presentation and thanked the Dallas-area audience for continuing to support his career through years of public controversy.

“I appreciate all the love. You know I f### with y’all for real,” Brown told the cheering crowd before Crockett left the stage.

Brown pleaded guilty in 2009 to assaulting Rihanna and received probation, community service and domestic violence counseling for the widely condemned attack.

AllHipHop previously reported that Brown later admitted an affray charge involving music producer Abraham Diaw at a London nightclub in 2023.

However, Crockett’s presentation recognized artistic impact rather than personal conduct, placing Brown and Usher’s decades of entertainment work into the Congressional Record.

The backlash also carried obvious political baggage because Crockett has built her national profile by confronting Donald Trump and his Republican allies.

Usher previously told The Associated Press their joint stadium run was designed to demonstrate R&B’s cultural power beyond either performer’s individual career.

The R&B Tour reaches SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, for two performances scheduled on September 25 and September 26.
