Megan Thee Stallion closed the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in silver wings Sunday night, bringing Hip-Hop to the finale a year after Missy Elliott held the same spot.
Megan performed on the runway in a lace bra, black thong and glittering stockings, Cosmopolitan reported. She joined the show as one of its musical headliners, alongside Tate McRae, KATSEYE and country singer Megan Moroney.
The event took place at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California, on October 18. It brought the production back to the Los Angeles area after the previous two editions in New York. The show had last been staged in Los Angeles in 2007.
Before her performance, Megan arrived on the pink carpet in a sequined gown with a fuchsia feather train and blonde hair.
The appearance followed an excited message she had shared when her booking was announced last month. “HOTTIES MY DREAM HAS FINALLY COME TRUE!!!!” she wrote, telling fans to watch her get her wings. AllHipHop covered that announcement before she took the stage Sunday.
Her closing slot continued a recent connection between the show’s finale and women in rap. Missy Elliott ended the 2025 edition with a medley that included “Lose Control,” “Get Ur Freak On” and “Work It.” She performed with dancers as part of a bill that also featured Karol G, TWICE and Madison Beer.
The show’s Hip-Hop history stretches back much further. Nicki Minaj performed “Super Bass” at the 2011 edition, which also featured Jay-Z and Kanye West. Those appearances placed rap performances inside the fashion broadcast long before Megan’s booking.
Megan also brought her own runway experience to the event. She presented her Hot Girl Summer swimwear brand at PARAISO Miami Swim Week in 2025 and returned to the Miami runway this year in a swimsuit she designed. That background gave her experience both wearing the clothes and developing the collection behind a show.
Sunday’s event streamed globally on Victoria’s Secret’s YouTube channel. The company also offered live screenings at 10 AMC theaters, its first such cinema presentation. The full 2026 show is now available on the brand’s official channel.
