Machine Gun Kelly and Dakota Johnson left a Los Angeles studio together on October 15, adding a late-night stop to the outings that have fueled dating rumors.
Page Six, in a report carried by AOL, said Johnson waited outside while the rapper finished a recording session. She wore a leopard-print coat and held what appeared to be a laptop.
When MGK came out, he moved a bag from the front seat into his trunk. Johnson then got into his Maserati, and the pair left together.
The next morning, his car remained parked at Johnson’s home, the account said. The outlet described the outing as an apparent overnight stay based on photos of the vehicle outside her house.
The pair had also stepped out at Hollywood’s Say Yes lounge earlier in the week, extending a run of sightings that began drawing attention in September.
Us Weekly traced their New York outing to September 11, when they visited Taylor Swift’s Tribeca apartment before going to dinner at Estela. An unnamed source described the visit as a date and said Swift had offered the space because the two wanted privacy.
They had also attended Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding in July, which sources pointed to as the start of their connection.
Later in September, another source described them as “seriously dating” and said they had kept in touch daily. Johnson also attended the Vogue World: Milano show, where MGK walked the runway on September 22.
The sightings followed high-profile breakups for both stars. MGK and Megan Fox split in late 2024, while Johnson’s eight-year relationship with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin ended in 2025. She later dated singer Role Model before their split this summer.
Johnson addressed the rush to label her outings during a September appearance on Vogue’s “The Run-Through” podcast. She said even dinner with her manager or lawyer could trigger headlines about a mystery man. Asked whether she wanted to correct such stories, she said she preferred to put her energy elsewhere.
“People are gonna believe what they wanna believe, and I don’t have the energy to fight for that,” Johnson said.
