Nelly, Gucci Mane and Rick Ross landed on Morgan Wallen’s 2027 Sand In My Boots lineup, giving Hip-Hop fans several reasons to watch a festival built around a country star.
Flo Rida, Juicy J, Project Pat and Ying Yang Twins also joined the bill announced November 2. The beach festival is set for May 21-23 in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Wallen, Kings of Leon and Ella Langley will headline.
Nelly already has a history of reaching country listeners. His 2021 album Heartland debuted at No. 7 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. The project included “Lil Bit” with Florida Georgia Line, one of eight collaborations across its nine tracks.
Wallen said in the festival announcement, “I think it’s going to be really top-notch and we’re going to try to do it even better this time.”
The 2027 dates will mark the festival’s second edition. Sand In My Boots debuted in 2025, when Wallen shared headlining duties with Post Malone, Brooks & Dunn and HARDY. That first event sold out in two hours. There was no 2026 edition.
Wallen described the idea behind the festival when the first edition sold out: “We started talking about curating a festival that includes my friends, and artists who have influenced me, years ago.”
That mix is still part of the 2027 roster. Alongside the rap acts, the bill includes Kygo, Empire of the Sun and Girl Talk. Country performers include Cole Swindell, Midland, Koe Wetzel, Avery Anna and Kameron Marlowe.
Festival passes go on sale November 6 at 10 A.M. Central. Fans can register ahead of the sale to receive a code and purchase link. The site lists general admission at $676.87, including taxes and beach restoration fees, for the full weekend.
General admission includes beach club access and swimming. Party Pit passes are listed at $1,354.87 and include a front-of-stage viewing area at the main stage. VIP passes cost $2,484.87, while Super VIP is listed at $3,614.87.
The festival also offers hotel packages that bundle lodging with passes and shuttle transportation. Buyers can choose a payment plan with 25 percent down at checkout.
