Nicki Minaj made it crystal clear that when she returns to the stage, her shows won’t turn into political lectures or preachy moments for her fanbase.
The rapper-turned-MAGA darling sat down with Laura Ingraham on “The Ingraham Angle” to discuss her involvement as a judge on the Million Dollar Pitch Competition, a business-focused program supported by the Trump administration and SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler.
But the real headline came when she addressed what her next tour would actually look like.
“I will not be on stage lecturing anyone,” Nicki Minaj said directly. “I will be on stage trying to have fun and remind people how blessed we are to live in this country and to remind people how blessed we are to wake up healthy and in our right minds every day.”
She emphasized that concerts represent something sacred to her, a space where thousands of people gather without worries, creating memories that last forever.
That’s the energy she’s bringing back when she hits the road again and the total opposite of Macklemore’s approach, which resulted in the rapper being booted off of Ed Sheeran’s “The Loop Tour” and dragged the singer into a hellhole of controversy.
Her focus right now isn’t on tour dates anyway. When asked about concerts, Minaj told the Barbs watching that she’s locked in on her business ventures.
“I don’t want any more questions about concerts. I’m in my businesswoman era,” she said with a laugh.
This shift aligns with her role judging the Million Dollar Pitch Competition, where she’s supporting small business owners during America’s 250th birthday year.
