Nipsey Hussle‘s Marathon Burger has opened at Los Angeles International Airport, bringing the family business to the terminal the rapper and his brother once used.
Samiel “Blacc Sam” Asghedom, Hussle’s brother and co-owner of the chain, announced the Terminal 1 location on Instagram. The terminal held a personal connection for the brothers, who often passed through it when flying out of Los Angeles.
Travelers will be able to order most of the chain’s usual menu, Asghedom said. The airport restaurant also has an exclusive breakfast menu, giving the new location something beyond the food served at its other shops.
The move followed work on Terminal 1’s food court.
In an October 12 construction update, Los Angeles World Airports said it was rebranding Betcha Burger as Marathon while nearby Ace Tacos was becoming Kogi BBQ. Both projects were scheduled to finish in mid-October.
The airport’s current Terminal 1 map now lists Marathon Burger in the departures-level food court alongside Kogi BBQ, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Chick-fil-A and Panda Express. The terminal map covers Gates 9 through 18.
For Blacc Sam, the airport shop extends a restaurant business built around a plan he shared with Hussle. Before the original restaurant launched, he told FOX 11 that the brothers had worked together cooking and talked about running their own restaurant.
The first Marathon Burger opened in Los Angeles in March 2025.
A Venice Beach location followed that June. During that expansion, Asghedom told FOX 11 that creating jobs was among the parts of the business that made the team most proud.
The chain later reached Long Beach, where Snoop Dogg and his son Cordell became investors. Blacc Sam credited the pair with introducing the team to the mayor and helping bring the restaurant downtown.
That location opened on March 1, 2026.
The LAX restaurant joins a Southern California footprint that also includes Canoga Park.
Blacc Sam has also discussed taking the business beyond the region. In August, he announced plans for a Las Vegas location with a drive-thru and 24-hour service.
