NOON Brunch goes Pink at Devon House
After making its debut in April of this year, the NOON Brunch series returned on Sunday, October 25 with a pink theme and an even bigger turnout. Held at the iconic Devon House, the event’s patrons enjoyed not only the available delicacies, but also the pulsating musical delights that kept flowing. Tasked with getting attendees in a dancing mood were DJ Junior Pang, who got things rolling with a number of sing-a-long tunes, Shukkle Bus, and DJ Fastcar, who kept the momentum going. Fyahman, Steelie Bashment, and Quality International also represented themselves well. “The first staging of NOON was really an introduction to the atmosphere and overall experience we envisioned for our patrons. It gave people a taste of what we wanted the brand to represent. So, for the second staging, we built on that foundation... We expanded the variety of food options, secured the iconic Devon House as our venue, and adjusted the event time to better accommodate our patrons. “We also maintained our commitment to delivering a diverse and experienced entertainment line-up. Ultimately, our objective was to elevate the overall experience while preserving the energy and atmosphere that made the first staging memorable,” Dane Wilson, director of brand & marketing for NOON Brunch, told the Jamaica Observer post-event. He added that the series’ growth speaks to the brand’s potential. “In just six months we’ve seen the brand gain significant recognition, and that’s incredibly encouraging. When I speak with people I’m often surprised by how many have already heard about NOON or have some familiarity with the experience we’re creating... Our focus now is on converting that recognition into sustained patron loyalty,” he shared.

Mack Square Security CEO Kelvin Fagan and his wife Tatesha enjoy NOON Pink, the brunch party series held on the sprawling lawns of Devon House on Sunday, October 25, 2026.

Wilson shared that one of the most memorable moments was when the rain started to pour and Shukkle Bus kept the energy going. Instead of allowing the weather to dampen the atmosphere, patrons embraced the moment. “At one point, there was even a conga line making its way through the crowd in the rain! It was spontaneous, energetic and genuinely unforgettable. Those are the kinds of experiences that make an event special,” he said. Commenting on the food on offer, Wilson noted that the objective was to provide variety and quality while ensuring the food complemented the overall brunch experience. “Food is a major part of the NOON experience, and for this staging, we wanted to ensure that patrons had a wide selection of breakfast and lunch favourites. The menu featured traditional Jamaican breakfast staples such as ackee and saltfish, callaloo, brown stew chicken, fried dumplings and festival. For lunch we had fried chicken, jerk chicken, soup, rice and peas, and, of course, curry goat. We also introduced a made-to-order omelette station, allowing guests to customise their omelettes with their preferred vegetables and proteins. Waffles, pancakes, pastries and fresh fruits completed the selection,” Wilson explained. The event, which primarily targets young professionals between the ages of 25 and 45 who appreciate good music and great food. The next staging will be in March 2027. “We don’t want NOON to be defined strictly by age. Our vision is to create an inclusive, sophisticated yet relaxed environment where different generations can come together and feel equally comfortable. We want grandmothers, mothers, and daughters to be able to attend the same event, enjoy the atmosphere and create memories together. At its core, NOON is about bringing people together through food, music and a shared appreciation for a great experience,” Wilson reasoned.
