Offset Faces Default In $200K Casino Battle As Paris Blackjack Video Surfaces

Offset could be staring at a $200,000 gambling judgment after missing a crucial deadline in a lawsuit filed by a Detroit casino.

The former Migos rapper failed to respond to MotorCity Casino Hotel’s lawsuit, prompting a Michigan judge to move the case toward default judgment.

According to Casino.org, Judge Qiana Denise Lillard found that Offset received proper notice but never answered the complaint.

The judge instructed the casino to pursue a default judgment, which could let it collect damages without Offset successfully contesting the claims.

However, the judge has not issued a final judgment, and Offset has not been found liable.

The lawsuit stems from a $100,000 gambling debt that MotorCity claims Offset accumulated during a March 2024 visit.

According to the casino, Offset signed a gambling marker, which functions like a short-term loan and allows the casino to collect from his bank account.

MotorCity claims its collection attempt failed because Offset’s account lacked sufficient funds.

The casino sued March 30, accusing him of fraud, breach of contract and violating Michigan’s bad-check law, which permits double damages and legal fees.

Offset’s representative previously said both parties were “working toward a resolution,” but the rapper still failed to answer the lawsuit.

That legal headache comes as another casino incident puts his gambling habits back under scrutiny.

On October 5, TMZ obtained video showing Offset arguing with employees at a high-stakes blackjack table in Paris.

The dispute centered on other gamblers allegedly taking his seat despite his claims that he was placing wagers between $10,000 and $20,000.

“I’m betting more than anybody in this motherfucker,” Offset complained as he demanded better treatment from casino employees.

He also claimed he had already won $200,000. But Offset later offered a different explanation for the confrontation, claiming the entire exchange was part of his album promotion.

Offset described the incident as a skit tied to GMFU, but he hasn’t explained whether the casino employees participated knowingly.

The rapper’s new album, GMFU, is scheduled for release on October 23.
