Papoose Brags About Knocking Out Eazy The Block Captain, But Illseed Remembers Something

Papoose is bragging about allegedly knocking out Eazy The Block Captain again, but I remember a time when he apparently wanted that very story to disappear.
And I have a little something to add to the historical record.
Back when reports first surfaced about Papoose allegedly putting hands on Eazy, AllHipHop was among the outlets reporting the situation practically in real time. What most people don’t know is that Papoose actually reached out to our platform.
Yep. He contacted us.
From what I recall, he wasn’t particularly enthusiastic about having that information circulating publicly. I did not talk to him, bt we had an internal hddleMy impression was that he wanted to minimize the exposure surrounding the alleged incident. Maybe he was concerned about potential legal consequences. I cannot say that for certain.
What I can say is that he wanted the report taken down, and I believe we accommodated his request. Frankly, that was an unusual amount of cooperation on our part.
We never heard back from him. Life continued, and the alleged altercation eventually became another infamous chapter in Hip-Hop relationship history.
Fast forward to October 2026.
Papoose has released a car freestyle called “Food For Thought,” responding to Eazy’s recent lyrical attacks on him and Claressa Shields. And apparently, whatever reluctance he once had about discussing the confrontation has evaporated.
“I caught a speeding ticket I gave him so many speed knots,” Papoose raps.
Now, that’s quite an interesting position considering the history.
Of course, Eazy has repeatedly denied being knocked unconscious, although he acknowledged getting punched. An alleged eyewitness previously supported that distinction.
So, who are we supposed to believe?
Meanwhile, Remy Ma appears conspicuously absent from this latest exchange. Papoose even references her lack of response in the freestyle.
Could she be completely finished with Eazy and all this foolishness? I don’t know. Her silence certainly doesn’t establish that, but I wonder if she’s simply moved on mentally.
By the way, Remy is looking fantastic these days.
Anyway, here’s where I land.
These are grown adults with children, careers and considerable influence. Papoose has a daughter watching his example. And with an election approaching, I’m increasingly interested in what we’re doing to secure our collective future.
Maybe it’s time to retire this particular fight.
There are bigger battles ahead, and not all of them require fists.
What do you think?
