Police Find No Lil Baby Link To Keion White Shooting Suspects

Police have found no connection between Lil Baby and the suspects in Keion White’s shooting case, even as the nightclub attack moved into court.

KQED reported that finding after Gregory Walker and Curtis Green appeared at San Francisco’s Hall of Justice on Wednesday, October 14. A judge ordered Green released on misdemeanor gun charges, while Walker remained jailed without bail on felony counts.

The two men postponed entering pleas and were due back for arraignment Monday, October 19. The judge ordered both not to possess weapons.

Walker’s attorney, Jeff Wozniak, disputed the case against his client and said he would seek his release.

“We’re gonna show that he’s innocent, get him back to his family,” Wozniak said.

The court decisions added a new step after officials announced four arrests in the investigation. Police described a broader operation involving more than 50 search warrants and help from more than 250 law enforcement personnel.

White was hosting a private Super Bowl party downstairs at Dahlia’s in San Francisco when he was shot in the ankle early February 9.

The San Francisco Standard reviewed a police report in which a witness said Lil Baby’s entourage tried to enter White’s event.

The witness described an argument between White and the rapper, then heard gunfire while upstairs asking club managers for help. He told police he did not know who shot White.

Prosecutors alleged Walker and a second man awaiting charges fired guns, wounding the 49ers defensive lineman.

The district attorney’s office charged Walker with assault with a semiautomatic firearm and three felony gun-possession counts. It also alleged he personally fired a gun and caused great bodily injury.

Green’s charges were different. Prosecutors accused him of brandishing a firearm, carrying a concealed firearm and carrying a loaded firearm in public, all misdemeanors.

Authorities arrested Green in Irvine on October 7 and Walker in Los Angeles on October 9. Both were booked into San Francisco County Jail on October 12.

Police also identified Marquis Davis and Antoine Washington as suspects. Officials were still arranging their transfer to San Francisco when the court report was published.

The investigation remained open, with Walker and Green’s next court appearance set for Monday.
