Prison officials are reportedly denying a reported physical altercation between American music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and convicted Jamaican drug lord Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke, which resulted in the rapper being rushed to hospital on Wednesday.
A TMZ report on Wednesday said the confrontation reportedly erupted after Combs allegedly caused trouble that resulted in disciplinary action against fellow inmates. The Bad Boy for Life singer reportedly sustained a head injury and was subsequently transported to an outside medical facility for treatment.
But the Federal Bureau of Prisons is denying that the fight took place.
"While, for privacy, safety, and security reasons, we do not comment on the conditions of confinement for any individual in our custody, we can tell you that the story you are referring to is false and did not happen. Sean Combs is in the custody of the Federal Bureau of Prisons and is incarcerated at the Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix. Beyond this, we have no additional information to provide," a spokesman for the Federal Bureau of Prisons was quoted as saying in a statement to The Daily Mail.
Combs was sentenced last year to just over four years in federal prison after being convicted on prostitution-related charges involving two of his former girlfriends.
