Project Pat took “Chickenhead” into a restaurant campaign, teaming up with Lil Lucky for Church’s Texas Chicken’s “Chickahhhn.”
According to the company’s announcement, the collaboration grew from Lil Lucky’s viral Church’s remake. Creative agency Brunner saw the clip, pitched Church’s and helped bring the two artists together. The song and video premiered on the chain’s YouTube channel.
The brand went with old cars and its vintage logo for the visuals. Its announcement disclosed no financial terms.
“At Church’s, bringing people together is an important part of our DNA, and that goes beyond the food we serve. We’re committed to showing up for our local communities and creating experiences that bring people together,” said Roland Gonzalez, CEO of Church’s Texas Chicken. “Music is a powerful way to connect with people and celebrate the culture that makes our communities special. Partnering with Project Pat on ‘Chickahhhn’ helps us take the connection to another level.”
The chain had also brought Juvenile and Mannie Fresh into a Chicago restaurant to serve lunch alongside employees, making Pat’s collaboration part of a wider push involving Hip-Hop artists.
“Chickenhead” had already found new audiences well beyond its original run. The Memphis hit dated to 2001, with La Chat trading lines with Pat.
Cardi B reworked the song as “Bickenhead” on her 2018 debut, Invasion of Privacy. Another revival came through Alaynna Doty, a separate viral performer.
As AllHipHop previously reported, the 9-year-old from Olive Branch, Mississippi, performed “Chickenhead” at the Crazy Cactus restaurant in July 2025. Her mother, Lauren Durham, posted the clip to TikTok, and Pat later shared it himself.
By that July report, the clip had passed 4 million views and drawn more than 130,000 comments.
That summer, Pat invited Doty to join him for a planned September 1 performance on Beale Street’s main stage at Memphis’ 901 Day celebration. Gus’ World-Famous Fried Chicken in Nashville helped arrange the connection.
