Rah Ali Accuses Nicki Minaj Of Trying To Destroy Her In Open Letter

Here’s Rah Ali’s statement:

“Nicki Minaj and I met around 2016, and throughout our friendship, I have been loyal, honest and trustworthy. I have done absolutely nothing to her. But there comes a point when enough is enough, and I have reached that point. I will not sit back and allow someone to intentionally destroy me simply because I refuse to let them be a puppet master.

Nicki Minaj instructed a YouTuber to spread lies accusing me of stealing $30 million from her. These allegations are complete and utter lies. There is no way someone can steal millions of dollars in the United States without so much as being questioned, charged or arrested.

I have actual proof that Nicki intends to destroy what I am building, disrupt my peace of mind and damage my quality of life.

People have advised me to ignore this and let it blow over. As someone in media, I understand that addressing accusations can give them more attention. But my concern goes beyond how she weaponizes her fan base, including threats against my life and my children.

My greater concern is the people who won’t comment publicly or post on social media, but whom I have to face and conduct business with. My reputation and livelihood are at stake.

I have proof of her intentions through things she has written and said directly to me. I have never taken anything from Nicki Minaj. I have been honest, loyal and a great friend. But I’ve had enough.”

It feels like she either wants to be friends again or she is ready to file a lawsuit.

Rah Ali is accusing Nicki Minaj of attempting to destroy her livelihood, and the extraordinary $30 million theft allegation surrounding their fractured friendship has made this situation downright ugly.

Remember when these two were practically inseparable? Loyalty has an expiration date. This one is sour.

Rah Ali, the former “Love & Hip Hop” personality and media entrepreneur, has reached her breaking point. After more than a decade of friendship, she is publicly rejecting allegations that she stole money from the Queens superstar. She had another letter to Nicki not too long ago.

Let’s examine the financial controversy.

In October 2025, Nicki alleged that several individuals had made approximately $25,000 in unauthorized charges on her American Express card. Blogger Tasha K subsequently circulated allegations involving Rah Ali, although Nicki did not publicly identify Rah as a suspect. 

Some newer online accusations have ballooned to an astonishing $30 million. Rah calls the allegations “complete and utter lies.”

She also questions why someone accused of stealing that kind of money has not been arrested or even questioned. $30 million is a lot of paper.

But this situation goes beyond money.

This line sits with me: “I have actual proof to show that Nicki’s intention is to destroy anything that I’m working on, and to try to destroy the peace of mind that I have.”

That’s a serious accusation.

Rah showed how she rides for Nicki. Remember the infamous 2018 New York Fashion Week confrontation involving Cardi B? Nicki publicly credited Rah with physically intervening during that chaotic episode. Rah was widely regarded as someone ready to give speed knots for Nicki.

In her October 2025 open letter, Rah challenged Nicki directly: “Show the evidence or apologize instead of sensationalizing headlines. Get offline and seek help. Reclaim your peace, your time, and your crown.” 

Nicki has not substantiated the allegations implicating Rah, and no criminal charges against Rah related to these claims have been verified. And yet here we are.

And if Rah actually releases the evidence she says she has, this story could become considerably more complicated.
