Rick Ross Sued For Ditching North Carolina Concerts As Bad Week Gets Worse

Rick Ross is having the kind of week where everything that can go wrong does, and now a lawsuit’s making it exponentially worse.

A tour organizer filed suit against the rapper this week, claiming he bailed on two North Carolina concerts in August and left them holding the bag for over $250,000

According to the complaint filed in Charlotte court, Omega14 Incorporated booked Ross for the final two stops of his “Port of Miami 20th Anniversary Orchestra Tour” in Greensboro and Charlotte, but he refused to perform and headed to Florida instead.

The organizer says the contract was crystal clear: cancellations were only allowed for “severe injury or death.” Ross’s team didn’t claim either one.

Instead, his sister Tawanda Roberts, who manages Maybach Music, called around 1 p.m. on the day of the Greensboro show and told them he wasn’t performing.

The Charlotte concert was nearly sold out, and both venues had substantial ticket sales already locked in. Omega14 is seeking $261,000 to cover venue bookings, orchestra management, production costs, staffing, travel, lodging, advertising, and lost profits.

The kicker? Ross performed in Orlando and Miami Beach those same days, which kind of destroys any argument about being unable to perform.

The organizer claims Ross and his companies engaged in conduct that was “unethical, unscrupulous, and substantially injurious to consumers and businesses.”

But the lawsuit isn’t even the worst part of his week.

Earlier this week, his ex-girlfriend Jazzma Kendrick posted photos on Instagram showing a busted lip and accused him of physical abuse, saying he treated her like a “punching bag.”

She wrote that a man who puts his hands on a woman never loved her and never will.

Even 50 Cent, who’s been feuding with Ross for years, acknowledged the seriousness, posting that while he’d normally laugh, domestic violence isn’t a joke.

Ross hasn’t responded to either allegations yet.
