Rod Wave Fans Face Halloween Costume Ban At Chicago Concerts

Rod Wave fans heading to Chicago for Halloween weekend will have to leave their costumes behind under a United Center rule covering his October 31 and November 1, 2026 concerts.

The arena’s event notice bars Halloween outfits, costume props and accessories. Masks that hide a guest’s identity and imitation weapons, including toy guns, swords, knives and bats, also cannot pass security.

Staff can reject other items considered unsafe or disruptive.

Guests carrying prohibited items must take them back to their vehicles or bring them to bag check, the venue says. Saturday’s listing has gates opening at 6:30 P.M.

Both Chicago shows are scheduled for 8 P.M. Fridayy is joining Rod on the “Don’t Look Down Tour,” with Mainstay Touring producing the run, as AllHipHop previously reported.

The tour shares its name with Rod’s seventh album, Don’t Look Down, which arrived August 28 through Alamo Records.

Chicago sits between two Brooklyn dates and the tour’s next Southern stops. Rod will play Barclays Center on October 28, followed by the two shows at United Center. The next scheduled date is November 3 at Charlotte’s Spectrum Center, then November 6 at Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, South Carolina.
