Skillibeng delivers electrifying performance at London carnival celebration
International dancehall star Skillibeng gifted his United Kingdom fans with an electrifying performance last week at KOKO in Camden. The dancehall star was at his best at the event, which was part of the Notting Hill Carnival celebration, as he unleashed a barrage of hits onto a very receptive crowd that sang along line by line. The Crocodile Teeth deejay eventually called up fellow dancehall star Koffee and the two performed their Rapid Fyah collaboration which sent the massive crowd into a frenzy. According to observers, the move was a good look for dancehall as it showcased that stars from Jamaica can unify for the greater good of the genre on the global stage. Skillibeng added another layer to his set when he called up fast rising United Kingdom based artiste, America Foster, and the two performed their collaborative effort, Rotate, which was very well received by the adoring crowd. The performance showcased both Skillibeng’s growing star power and electrifying stagecraft. The St Thomas native, who rose to prominence in late 2019 following the release of his breakthrough single Brik Pan Brick, has accomplished countless musical accolades as well as scored several mainstream hits including Crocodile Teeth, Wap Wap, Torpedo, Coke, and the Shake It To The Max remix alongside Moliy and Shenseea. Currently, he is honoring a long list of tour dates as well as recording for several top notch local and international producers. He recently released a new single entitled Big Glock which has been steadily generating a buzz among music fans.
